What You Deserve From Therapy (even if no one told you)

I can't guarantee therapy is going to solve your problems. But I will show up with you so you don’t have to go through this alone.
I can't promise you'll never feel sad again. But I can promise that I can teach you what to do when sadness shows up.
I can't wave a magic wand and make your toxic in-laws stop being so critical. But I can show you how to set healthy boundaries in a way that feels aligned with you and protects your peace.
I can't tell you what to do.. and I definitely can't make you do anything. But I can explore the options in front of you- some of which you may not have conisdered- and help you narrow down the list so that you make a choice that feels the best in your situation.
You will know that you are getting good therapy because not only will I show up and give you my full, undivided attention, but I will help you get closer to answers that feel true to you... when you’re open to showing up for yourself in the process. I will utilize my education, skills and training to create a space where you can feel seen, understood, and supported.
I can't erase your bad feelings, but I can adapt the way I work with you so that you can handle them without spiraling into depression.
I can’t control your choices... but I can help you create a plan to keep yourself safe.
I can't guarantee my type of therapy will work for you. But if it doesn't, I can point you in the direction of someone who might be a better fit.
So why should you reach out? Because you’re ready for something to shift. And even though I can't guarantee change, it's definitely more possible if you take the first step. It's more likely that things will start to get better when you have a therapist who is attuned and skilled at processing the hard stuff with women just like you.
You'll have a therapist who doesn't assume she knows your story or know how to "fix" it... but one who is curious to learn more.. and who really wants you to feel good about your life. You'll have a therapist who has been through the personal inner work, so she knows the journey... and she'll show up as a map, not a prescription.
