WHAT TO EXPECT

simple flowers
Therapy with me is a partnership.

From our first session, we’ll focus on building trust and clarity around what you want from this process. Utilizing a trauma-treatment approach, you’ll never be rushed or talked over; instead, we’ll explore your story together: your strengths, struggles, and hopes for change.

You can expect a space that feels calm, grounded, and genuinely you. There’s structure when you need it and flexibility when you don’t. Most of all, you’ll feel met with empathy and honesty every step of the way.

WHAT TO EXPECT

"Working with Brandy has been truly life changing. She guided me through a transformation bigger than I could have imagined. It wasn’t always easy, at times it was hard and even scary, but I always knew I wasn’t alone. She met me with deep respect, honoring who I am at my core and helping me reconnect with a true self I didn’t even know was there, but somehow remembered along the way. Brandy is incredible: supportive, trustworthy, and steady every step of the way. Part of my plan used EMDR, and the impact has been profound. It helped me release old pain, shift the way I see myself, and finally feel lighter, more empowered, and at peace."

CARE WITHOUT INSURANCE CONSTRAINTS

Private Pay Trauma & Anxiety Therapy in the Metro-East St. Louis Region

I believe therapy works best when it's collaborative, flexible, and centered entirely around you.

I've chosen to operate as a private-pay practice so I can offer care that isn't restricted by insurance company rules, diagnositc requirements, or session limits. This allows us to focus on healing instead of paperwork.

It also allows me to better tailor sessions to you. Insurance often dictates session length, frequency, and treatment approach. Private Pay provides a way for us to choose modalities like EMDR, creative therapies such as Art and play-based work, family therapy, or trauma focused CBT based on what actually supports your healing- not only what is reimbursable by insurance.

Important Note:

Many Clients may not realize they have out-of-network benefits, which may qualify for reimbursable out-of-network trauma therapy. If you feel I could be the best fit for you, this may offset some of the cost. If you have out-of-network benefits, I may be able to provide you a monthly superbill you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. These amounts vary by plan, and I recommend contacting your insurere directly for details.
